1. Leave 0.5-1ft of room for accessories, ensuring that each corner is in a high-low position to allow water to run off and prevent pooling.
2. Use the adjustable turnbuckles (hardware kit in our shop) to make the shade sail taut.

The shade sail offers UV protection in summer, isolates heat, and is waterproof. The polyester waterproof material is tilted in a low-high position to prevent pooling water during installation. Each corner features a stainless D-Ring with extra stitching, providing 95% UV protection and a breathable fabric. The slightly curved edges prevent sagging, resulting in a better-looking product.

Measurement Note: You need to leave 0.5-1ft of room for accessories and avoid buying an oversized sun shade canopy. The measured distance is from the middle of one end of the D-ring to the middle of the other end of the D-ring.

Waterproof Note: The shade sail is made from polyester with PU coating, which is anti-light rain and blocks UV rays to cool your patio, but it should not be used in heavy rain or storms.

Installation Note: Waterproof shade sails need to be installed at a 30-degree angle with maximum tension to allow run-off and face up. Otherwise, the water will accumulate and not be waterproof.

Splicing Process Note: To improve the waterproof performance, we use hot glue and a splicing process. Most of the sizes are made up of two pieces of shade fabric.
